Ethiopian mustard – Senafich’ Senafich’ is similar to English mustard. It is greatly famous during Lent.

Equipment:
medium mixing bowl
mortar and pestle

Elements:
2 cups mustard seeds
3 Tbsp. oil
1 cup water
to taste salt

How to prepare Senafich’ – Ethiopian mustard
Using mortar and pestle pound mustard seeds to powder. Add 1 cup water, 3 Tbsp. oil and salt to taste. Mix well till mixture is somewhat liquid.
Refrigerate and keep in closed container.
