Minchet Abish - Spiced ground beef stew (pungent ) Minchet Abish is a very delicious stew. Eat it pungent with injera or bread.

Gear:
medium cooking pan
medium mixing bowl

Elements of Minchet Abish – Spiced basis beef stew (pungent ):
2 Ibs. ground beef
2 cups red onions (chopped)
1 cup red pepper (berbere)
2 cups water
2 cups butter (spiced)
to taste salt
¼ tsp. ginger
¼ tsp. shiro (pea flour)
¼ tsp. cardamom
¼ tsp. cloves
1 cup red cooking wine or t’ej
¼ tsp fenugreek

How to create Spiced ground beef stew (hot )
Brown onions in medium pan with fenugreek. Add meat and stimulate until everything the juice from the meat evaporates. Add butter and salt and cook for 15 minutes and consequently put in ginger and wine or t’ej in the mixing bowl, make at thick paste with shiro and water and put in the paste to thicken the sauce. Sprinkle cardamom and mix well. Add cloves. When meat is soft and tender delete from the heat and serve strong. Warm leftover stew on low heat. Serves about 6. Refrigerate to store.
